About the role

DataPro Services is launching a rapid CI/CD sprint to accelerate platform releases. We need a Python Backend Developer who can design, implement, and fine‑tune automation pipelines while keeping the codebase clean and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Automate environment provisioning and deployment scripts for micro‑services.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with existing data services.
• Implement monitoring hooks and rollback mechanisms for fast releases.
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA to ensure end‑to‑end delivery quality.

Must-have skills

• Strong Python experience, especially with Django.
• Design and consumption of REST APIs.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL schema design and optimization.
• Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline creation and automation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with container tools such as Docker.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
