About the role

Orbit Labs is undertaking a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need a QA Software Tester to design and execute rigorous test suites that ensure stability under load and fast response times.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated regression tests using Selenium.
• Create performance test scripts to simulate peak traffic scenarios.
• Identify bottlenecks, log defects, and verify fixes across micro‑services.
• Collaborate with developers to embed testing into CI pipelines.
• Produce clear test reports and metrics for stakeholders.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in functional and performance testing.
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software reliability principles.
• Ability to write clear, concise test cases and documentation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with load testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Background in cloud‑based service testing.
