About the role

NovaForge Tech is launching a sprint to automate its CI/CD pipeline and streamline platform releases. We need a REST API Developer to design and enhance services that drive the automation workflow, ensuring faster, reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and document RESTful endpoints that integrate with CI/CD tools
• Implement automated testing and validation hooks within the pipeline
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerize services and manage versioning
• Optimize database interactions for release metadata storage
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot integration issues in real time

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficient JavaScript coding and debugging
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and automation frameworks

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes orchestration
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
