About the role

NexGen Media is launching an integration project linking billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Database Administrator to design, implement, and tune the data layer that supports seamless data flow across systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design schema and data models for unified billing and CRM data
• Implement replication and synchronization between PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL instances
• Develop ETL pipelines and stored procedures for API data exchange
• Monitor performance, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure high availability
• Document data architecture and provide knowledge transfer to the dev team

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL in production
• Proven experience with data integration and API‑driven workflows
• Strong SQL scripting, indexing, and query optimization skills
• Familiarity with cloud database services and backup strategies

Nice to have

• Experience with containerized database deployments (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of data security and compliance standards
