About the role

Silverline Labs is building a data pipeline that powers real‑time analytics for operations teams. We need a Database Administrator to design, tune, and maintain the underlying databases that feed these insights.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL solutions for high‑volume data ingestion.
• Develop ETL processes and automated data quality checks.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and apply indexing strategies.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure schema alignment with analytics needs.
• Document procedures, backup strategies, and disaster‑recovery plans.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL in production.
• Strong SQL/NoSQL query optimization and indexing expertise.
• Experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt) and cloud databases.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation (Python, Bash).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerized database deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and BI tools.
