About the role

Northbay Systems seeks a DevOps Engineer to lead a test automation uplift, reducing regression risk before product launches. You will design and integrate automated testing pipelines that seamlessly fit into existing CI/CD workflows, ensuring fast, reliable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable test automation frameworks on AWS.
• Containerize test suites using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test coverage metrics.
• Monitor and troubleshoot flaky tests, improving stability and reliability.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for test environments.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services for scalable automation.
• Hands‑on scripting/automation (Shell, Python, or Groovy).
• Understanding of test frameworks and regression risk mitigation.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring solutions like Prometheus or Grafana.
• Background in security testing automation.
