About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is preparing a major app store launch that tightly couples mobile front‑ends with backend services. We need a DevOps Engineer to design and automate the pipeline that guarantees seamless mobile/backend alignment, rapid feature rollout, and high availability during the release window.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement CI/CD workflows for mobile build artifacts and backend microservices.
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters in AWS.
• Configure automated testing, security scanning, and version control hooks to catch integration issues early.
• Monitor release health, set up alerts, and perform rollbacks when needed.
• Collaborate with mobile and backend developers to define environment parity and configuration standards.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years in DevOps or site reliability engineering.
• Deep experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
• Proven track record building end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines for mobile and backend components.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile app distribution tools (Fastlane, App Center).
• Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks like Prometheus/Grafana.
