About the role

Ridgeline Software is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, implement, and validate hardened container orchestration environments that meet compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Kubernetes clusters for security gaps and propose remediation.
• Implement network policies, pod security standards, and role‑based access controls.
• Containerize legacy services with Docker, ensuring minimal attack surface.
• Integrate automated scanning tools into CI pipelines and generate compliance reports.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security best practices into deployment workflows.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Proven track record of security hardening in cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of CIS Benchmarks, RBAC, and network policies.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Terraform or Helm for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Trivy or Aqua.
• Knowledge of cloud provider security services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
