About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a new SaaS product and needs a Full Stack Web Developer to lead test automation uplift. The project focuses on reducing regression risk before each release, ensuring a smooth launch experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end automated test suites for frontend and backend components.
• Integrate CI pipelines with Selenium, Cypress or Playwright to run tests on every push.
• Refactor existing test code to improve coverage and maintainability.
• Collaborate with QA, product, and DevOps teams to define risk thresholds.
• Document test strategies and provide training for internal engineers.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React and NodeJS in production environments.
• Proficiency in JavaScript testing frameworks and API testing.
• Hands‑on knowledge of MongoDB schema design and queries.
• Ability to write clean, modular code and unit tests.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or containerized test environments.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools.
• Background in continuous delivery and monitoring.
