About the role

Silverline Labs is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design and implement a zero‑downtime migration path while keeping existing services stable.

Key responsibilities

• Design a new GraphQL schema that coexists with current REST endpoints
• Implement resolvers in NodeJS and integrate with existing data stores
• Build feature flags and blue‑green deployment scripts for seamless cut‑over
• Write automated tests and performance benchmarks for the new API layer
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure zero‑downtime rollout strategies

Must-have skills

• 5+ years building production GraphQL services
• Strong NodeJS expertise and REST API experience
• Proficient with React for client‑side query handling
• Deep understanding of zero‑downtime deployment patterns

Nice to have

• Experience with Apollo Federation or similar mesh architectures
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
