About the role

DataPro Services is revamping its customer‑facing services to boost performance and reliability. We need a GraphQL API Developer to redesign the core API layer, ensure low latency, and strengthen fault tolerance across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a high‑throughput GraphQL schema that consolidates existing REST endpoints.
• Refactor data fetching logic to minimize round‑trips and leverage batching and caching.
• Integrate comprehensive monitoring, tracing, and automated testing for API reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to align GraphQL queries with React data needs.
• Document API contracts and migration guides for internal teams.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years building scalable GraphQL services.
• Strong proficiency in React and NodeJS ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of REST API patterns and migration strategies.
• Experience with performance profiling, caching (e.g., Redis), and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apollo Server and Federation.
• Knowledge of cloud‑native deployments (AWS, GCP).
• Exposure to automated load testing tools.
