About the role

BrightMart Solutions is launching a data pipeline and analytics enablement effort for its operations teams. We need a seasoned Java Developer to design, implement, and optimize micro‑service components that ingest, transform, and surface operational data in near‑real time.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable Java micro‑services using Spring Boot.
• Build robust ETL pipelines that connect to relational and streaming sources.
• Implement data validation, error handling, and monitoring hooks.
• Collaborate with data analysts to define schema and performance targets.
• Write unit, integration, and contract tests to ensure reliability.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot and micro‑service patterns.
• Proficiency with data pipelines, messaging queues, and RESTful APIs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Kafka or Flink.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tooling and containerization.
