About the role

LumenWorks is launching a critical product and needs a Microservices Architect to uplift test automation and cut regression risk. You will design a resilient microservice ecosystem that supports automated testing pipelines and ensures stable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Define microservice boundaries and communication patterns for test suites
• Integrate Docker and Kubernetes for scalable test environments
• Create CI/CD workflows that trigger automated regression tests
• Collaborate with QA and dev teams to embed testing into service contracts
• Document architecture decisions and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing microservice architectures
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Java ecosystems
• Strong background in test automation frameworks
• Ability to translate business risk into technical safeguards

Nice to have

• Familiarity with contract testing tools (Pact, Hoverfly)
• Experience with performance testing in cloud environments
