Senior MongoDB Specialist – End-to-End Database Architecture

About the role

TechFlow Inc is preparing a major app store launch and needs a MongoDB Specialist to align mobile and backend data flows. You will ensure schema design, indexing, and replication support seamless user experiences across iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize MongoDB schemas for high‑write mobile workloads
• Implement sharding and replication strategies for zero‑downtime releases
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to define API contracts and data validation
• Set up monitoring, alerts, and performance dashboards
• Conduct data migration tests and rollback plans for the upcoming release

Must-have skills

• Proven experience with MongoDB in production mobile backends
• Strong command of JavaScript and NodeJS for data services
• Understanding of RESTful API design and security best practices
• Ability to write clear documentation and work in a remote team

Nice to have

• Familiarity with React Native data handling
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for database migrations
