About the role
BrightMart Solutions is creating a robust data pipeline to feed analytics for operations teams. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design, implement, and tune the data flow from source systems into analytical stores, ensuring high reliability and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and build MongoDB collections tailored for real‑time analytics
- Develop ETL processes that ingest, transform, and load operational data
- Implement sharding, indexing, and aggregation strategies for speed and scalability
- Monitor cluster health, set up alerts, and perform routine maintenance
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to align schema with reporting needs
Must-have skills
- 5+ years hands‑on MongoDB design and performance tuning
- Strong command of aggregation pipelines and data modeling
- Experience with cloud‑hosted MongoDB (Atlas or equivalent)
- Proficiency in scripting with JavaScript/NodeJS for automation
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for database changes
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Kafka or similar streaming platforms
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) for database services
- Exposure to data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
