About the role

Keystone Digital is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay live 24/7. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design zero‑downtime migration strategies, refactor data models, and implement real‑time replication safeguards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze existing MongoDB schemas and propose normalized structures for performance gains
• Build automated migration pipelines using change streams to avoid service interruption
• Implement sharding and indexing plans aligned with upcoming micro‑service workloads
• Monitor replication lag and devise fail‑over procedures for zero‑downtime rollouts
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate new data contracts into NodeJS services

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise with MongoDB clustering, aggregation, and performance tuning
• Proven experience designing zero‑downtime migration patterns
• Strong command of JavaScript/NodeJS ecosystem
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes orchestration
• Knowledge of data security best practices in cloud environments
