About the role

We are revamping the performance and reliability of our customer‑facing services. As a MongoDB Specialist you will design, tune, and monitor database layers that power high‑traffic APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze existing MongoDB schemas and indexes for bottlenecks
• Implement sharding and replica set strategies to improve scalability
• Create automated health checks and alerting for latency spikes
• Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize query patterns
• Document best‑practice guidelines for future development

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with MongoDB performance tuning
• Proficiency in JavaScript/NodeJS ecosystems
• Understanding of data modeling for high‑throughput workloads
• Ability to write clear technical documentation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes deployments
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
