About the role
Northbay Systems is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need a seasoned .NET Core developer to redesign critical services, implement zero‑downtime deployment patterns, and ensure seamless migration to the cloud.
Key responsibilities
- Refactor legacy codebases into clean .NET Core micro‑services
- Design and implement blue‑green and canary release pipelines
- Integrate Azure services for scalability and observability
- Write unit, integration, and performance tests to guarantee reliability
- Collaborate with QA and Ops to validate zero‑downtime cutovers
Must-have skills
- 5+ years professional .NET Core development
- Deep knowledge of C# and asynchronous programming
- Extensive experience with Azure App Service, Functions, and DevOps
- Proven track record of zero‑downtime migrations
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Event‑Driven Architecture
- Knowledge of Terraform or ARM templates
