About the role

BlueSky Ventures is building an intelligent customer‑support platform that leverages cutting‑edge language models. We need a senior NLP Engineer to design, fine‑tune, and integrate conversational AI components that understand and respond to user queries with high accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize end‑to‑end NLP pipelines for intent detection, entity extraction, and response generation.
• Fine‑tune large language models on domain‑specific data and evaluate performance.
• Integrate NLP services with existing backend APIs and ensure low latency.
• Implement data preprocessing, augmentation, and labeling workflows.
• Collaborate with product and UX teams to refine conversational flows.
• Monitor model drift and maintain continuous improvement cycles.

Must-have skills

• Expertise in Python for machine‑learning development.
• Strong experience with transformer‑based models and libraries such as Hugging Face.
• Proficiency in building and deploying RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of NLP evaluation metrics and error analysis.
• Ability to work independently and deliver within tight timelines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with JavaScript for front‑end integration.
• Experience with MLOps tools for model versioning and monitoring.
