About the role

BlueSky Ventures is revamping a legacy production platform that must stay live while we replace its UI layer. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to lead the front‑end rewrite, ensuring zero‑downtime migration and a smooth user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a modular Vue 3 codebase that can be deployed alongside the existing UI.
• Implement feature flags and progressive rollout strategies for seamless cut‑over.
• Translate legacy UI components into reusable Vue components with TypeScript.
• Optimize bundle size and performance to meet strict latency targets.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align API contracts and data flows.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Vue.js development, preferably with Vue 3 and Composition API.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience delivering zero‑downtime front‑end migrations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Vuex or Pinia state management.
• Background in performance profiling tools.
• Exposure to cloud‑native deployment environments.
