About the role

Pinecrest Systems is modernizing its operations data pipeline. We need a Terraform Engineer to design, provision, and optimize the infrastructure that powers analytics for our ops teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and codify AWS resources for a scalable data ingestion pipeline using Terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines that automatically test and apply infrastructure changes.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure secure, cost‑effective storage and processing layers.
• Monitor and fine‑tune resource usage, applying best‑practice tagging and lifecycle policies.
• Document module usage and hand‑off procedures for ops stakeholders.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience writing production‑grade Terraform modules.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, Kinesis, IAM).
• Solid DevOps mindset with CI/CD implementation experience.
• Understanding of data pipeline concepts and analytics enablement.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform Cloud or Enterprise workspaces.
• Familiarity with observability tools (CloudWatch, Grafana).
• Background in data engineering or analytics tooling.
