About the role

Northbay Systems is accelerating its release cadence by launching a CI/CD and platform automation sprint. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to build and refine the UI of our new "PulseDeploy" dashboard, which will give engineers real‑time visibility into build pipelines and deployment health.

Key responsibilities

• Implement responsive Vue 3 components for the PulseDeploy UI using Vite and Tailwind CSS.
• Integrate the frontend with GitLab CI pipelines via REST APIs to display build status and logs.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests with Jest and Cypress to ensure release‑ready quality.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to embed feature flags for canary releases.
• Optimize bundle size and load performance for sub‑second dashboard rendering.
• Document component usage and handoff notes for the internal automation team.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Vue.js (Vue 2/3) and Vuex/Pinia state management.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands‑on with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and API integration.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest and Cypress.
• Ability to work in an Agile sprint environment and meet short‑term milestones.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes dashboards.
• Knowledge of TypeScript and GraphQL.
