About the role

CloudWave Digital is enhancing its release pipeline with a focused test automation uplift. We need an Android Developer to design and integrate automated UI and unit tests that cut regression risk before launch. You will work closely with QA and product leads to prioritize high‑impact scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Develop robust Espresso and UI Automator test suites for core app features
• Integrate tests into CI pipelines and ensure reliable reporting
• Refactor existing test code for maintainability and speed
• Collaborate with developers to embed testability into new features
• Document test coverage and provide guidance to the team

Must-have skills

• Strong Kotlin and Java proficiency for Android
• Hands‑on experience with Espresso, UI Automator, or similar frameworks
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and Android build tools
• Ability to write clear, maintainable test code

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Firebase Test Lab or similar cloud testing services
• Experience with performance testing on Android devices
