About the role

Cascade Apps is modernizing its legacy production platform to achieve zero‑downtime deployments. As an Angular Developer you will help refactor the existing UI into a scalable, component‑driven architecture for the new Nebula Dashboard module. This short‑term contract focuses on delivering a seamless migration while maintaining live traffic.

Key responsibilities

• Audit the current AngularJS codebase and map dependencies for the Nebula Dashboard.
• Implement lazy‑loaded Angular modules using Angular 15 and RxJS to improve initial load time.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions for automated builds and zero‑downtime releases.
• Write unit tests with Jest and end‑to‑end tests with Cypress to ensure regression‑free migration.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate new REST endpoints without service interruption.
• Document migration steps and create a rollback strategy for each sprint milestone.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Angular (v9+) and TypeScript.
• Proficient in JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with RxJS, NgRx state management, and Angular CLI.
• Hands‑on with Git, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to write comprehensive Jest and Cypress test suites.

Nice to have

• Experience with server‑side rendering (Angular Universal).
• Knowledge of Docker containers for local development.
