AWS Cloud Engineer – Cloud-Native DevOps Automation

About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is preparing a major app store release that requires tight mobile and backend alignment. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and fine‑tune the cloud environment that powers the new mobile experience.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable AWS services for API backends and mobile data sync
• Containerize micro‑services with Docker and orchestrate them on ECS or EKS
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor performance, set alerts, and optimize cost and latency
• Collaborate with mobile developers to ensure secure, low‑latency endpoints

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS core services (Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3)
• Proficient in Docker containerization and orchestration
• Solid DevOps practices, CI/CD, IaC, and automation
• Linux system administration and scripting

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile backend frameworks (Amplify, AppSync)
• Knowledge of serverless security best practices
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Datadog
