About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is revamping a legacy production platform and needs a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design zero‑downtime deployment workflows. You will work closely with the core engineering team to replace brittle scripts with automated, cloud‑native pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines on AWS using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Migrate existing Jenkins jobs to GitHub Actions or GitLab CI while preserving uptime.
• Containerize legacy services with Docker and orchestrate them via Kubernetes.
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and canary releases into the pipeline.
• Monitor pipeline health and implement rollback strategies for zero‑downtime releases.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines for production workloads.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and automation tools.
• Ability to script in Bash/Python and manage infrastructure as code.

Nice to have

• Experience with legacy monolith modernization.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Datadog.
• Knowledge of security scanning integrations.
