About the role

NexGen Media is expanding its operations analytics platform. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines that feed real‑time analytics to our operations teams. This part‑time role focuses on automating build, test, and deployment workflows for data processing services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines for data ingestion and transformation jobs.
• Integrate automated testing and quality gates into the pipeline.
• Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to align pipeline outputs with reporting needs.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines for data‑centric applications.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services (ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda).
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and automation tools.
• Ability to write reusable pipeline scripts (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect.
• Background in analytics or operations monitoring.
