Key Responsibilities

• Editing video footage to create engaging, high-quality video content that meets the company's standards and exceeds client expectations.
• Collaborating with producers, directors, and designers to develop concepts, scripts, and storyboards for video projects.
• Importing, organizing, and editing video and audio files using professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
• Adding visual effects, motion graphics, and sound effects to enhance the visual and audio quality of video content.
• Color correcting and color grading video footage to achieve a consistent look and feel.
• Working with clients to understand their vision, goals, and requirements, and delivering video content that meets their needs and expectations.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and techniques in video editing and post-production.
• Providing feedback and guidance to junior editors and assistants to help them develop their skills and expertise.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of the company's brand, style, and tone, and ensuring that all video content aligns with these guidelines.
• Collaborating with the marketing team to develop video content that supports the company's marketing strategy and goals.
• Testing and quality checking video content to ensure that it meets the company's technical and creative standards.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting editing equipment and software as needed.
• Staying organized, managing workflow, and maintaining accurate records of project progress and deadlines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in video editing, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer.
• Excellent technical skills, including knowledge of video and audio formats, compression, and export settings.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling principles, including pacing, timing, and narrative structure.
• Ability to work collaboratively with producers, directors, designers, and other stakeholders to develop concepts and deliver high-quality video content.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback and guidance to team members and clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and develop creative solutions to complex problems.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Strong understanding of the company's brand, style, and tone, and ability to develop video content that aligns with these guidelines.
• Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design is a plus.
