About the role

BlueSky Ventures is enhancing its operations data pipeline and analytics platform. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security controls, monitor threats, and ensure compliance across the data flow.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and harden data ingestion points against cyber threats
• Implement real‑time monitoring and alerting for pipeline anomalies
• Collaborate with analytics engineers to embed security best practices
• Conduct periodic vulnerability scans and risk assessments
• Document security configurations and incident response procedures

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of network and application security
• Experience securing data pipelines and cloud‑based analytics
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation
• Hands‑on Linux system administration

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SIEM tools and log analysis
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as GDPR or SOC 2
