About the role

NovaForge Tech is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a focused Cybersecurity Analyst to assess, design, and implement protective controls across our SaaS stack.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for cloud services.
• Develop and enforce hardening baselines for IaaS and PaaS components.
• Implement automated security scans and monitor alerts.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document findings and provide remediation guidance.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with cloud security frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST).
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation.
• Strong Linux administration and hardening knowledge.
• Understanding of networking, IAM, and encryption best practices.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with container security tools.
• Experience with security incident response.
• Certifications such as CISSP or AWS Security Specialty.
