About the role
CloudWave Digital is modernizing the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security controls while enhancing system resilience. You will work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure secure, high‑availability operations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct threat modeling for critical service components
- Implement and tune security monitoring and alerting pipelines
- Perform vulnerability assessments and prioritize remediation
- Collaborate on incident response playbooks for service disruptions
- Audit cloud configurations and harden Linux hosts
Must-have skills
- Strong understanding of network security and cloud security best practices
- Hands‑on experience with security tooling (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners)
- Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting
- Deep knowledge of Linux hardening and system hardening techniques
Nice to have
- Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2
