DevOps Engineer – Secure Platform Reliability

About the role

NovaForge Tech is launching a focused sprint to accelerate release cycles through CI/CD and platform automation. As a Part-time DevOps Engineer you will design, implement, and refine pipelines that enable rapid, reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Build end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and CloudFormation
• Containerize applications and manage orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
• Integrate monitoring and alerting to ensure pipeline health
• Collaborate with developers to embed security and testing early in the flow

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with CI/CD concepts and tooling
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
• Hands‑on AWS environment management
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Solid scripting abilities (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)

Nice to have

• Experience with GitOps workflows
• Knowledge of Helm chart management
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks like Prometheus/Grafana
