As a Shopify Developer at NovaSparks, you will be responsible for developing high-quality e-commerce solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with our design team to create custom themes and templates, integrate third-party apps, and develop complex Shopify stores. You will also collaborate with our project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects and provide technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality e-commerce solutions using Shopify, including custom themes, templates, and integrations with third-party apps
• Collaborate with our design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
• Work with our project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects and provide technical support to our clients
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of e-commerce solutions to ensure they meet our quality standards
• Develop and maintain complex Shopify stores, including custom checkout processes and payment gateways
• Integrate third-party apps, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing tools
• Optimize e-commerce solutions for better performance, scalability, and security
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in e-commerce and web development
• Collaborate with our team to develop and maintain our internal knowledge base and coding standards
• Provide technical support and training to our clients on the use of our e-commerce solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our coding standards and best practices

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Shopify development, including custom theme and template development, and integration with third-party apps
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
• Experience with NodeJS and Shopify API
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with designers, developers, and project managers
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Strong understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices
• Experience with Shopify Plus and Shopify Polaris
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to debug complex issues
• Experience with e-commerce platforms, such as Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce
• Strong understanding of web development principles, including responsive design and accessibility
