About the role

DataPro Services is revamping the performance and reliability of its flagship customer‑facing platform, codenamed "PulseSync". As a GraphQL API Developer you will redesign the core data layer, introduce caching strategies, and ensure low‑latency responses for high‑traffic queries.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor existing GraphQL resolvers to use DataLoader and Redis caching, targeting a 40% latency reduction.
• Implement schema stitching to unify legacy REST endpoints with new micro‑services.
• Set up automated load testing pipelines in k6 and monitor results in Grafana.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to configure CI/CD for schema migrations using GitHub Actions.
• Document performance benchmarks and create a rollback plan for critical releases.
• Conduct code reviews focused on query optimization and error handling.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience building GraphQL APIs with NodeJS.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of REST API integration patterns.
• Familiarity with caching solutions (Redis, Memcached) and performance profiling tools.
• Hands‑on with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apollo Federation or Serverless GraphQL deployments.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
