About the role

Harbor Softworks is expanding its B2B SaaS platform with a new multi-tenant capability called TenantPulse. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design and ship the core GraphQL layer that powers TenantPulse, ensuring isolated data access for each client while integrating with existing services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a multi-tenant GraphQL schema using Apollo Server on Node.js.
• Integrate the GraphQL layer with legacy REST endpoints and the internal billing microservice.
• Write automated tests with Jest and GraphQL Playground to validate schema contracts.
• Set up CI pipelines in GitHub Actions for schema validation and deployment to our Kubernetes staging cluster.
• Collaborate with the security team to enforce row‑level permissions via middleware.
• Deliver a functional MVP of TenantPulse within six weeks, including documentation.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building GraphQL APIs with Apollo Server.
• Proficiency in NodeJS and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Understanding of multi‑tenant architecture and data isolation.
• Hands‑on with REST API integration and microservice communication.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, especially GitHub Actions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes deployments.
• Knowledge of TypeScript for type‑safe schema definitions.
