Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based architectures using AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS
• Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using languages such as Java, Python, and Node.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the security and integrity of cloud-based systems
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity
• Participate in agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban to ensure rapid delivery and continuous improvement
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems to ensure high availability and performance
• Develop and implement automated testing and deployment scripts using tools such as Jenkins and Docker
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based services with applications
• Develop and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using tools such as AWS Glue and Apache Beam
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code is high-quality, readable, and well-documented
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features to ensure that our cloud-based architectures are always optimal and secure

Requirements

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS
• Experience with cloud-based development languages such as Java, Python, and Node.js
• Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures
• Strong understanding of security and compliance principles and protocols
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with automated testing and deployment tools such as Jenkins and Docker
• Experience with cloud-based data pipelines and data warehousing
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related field
