About the role

Summit Digital is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need an iOS App Developer to strengthen the mobile client, integrate secure communication, and audit existing code for vulnerabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement encryption, certificate pinning, and secure storage in existing iOS codebase.
• Review and refactor network layers to use hardened REST API calls.
• Collaborate with cloud security engineers to align mobile and backend protections.
• Write unit and integration tests covering security scenarios.
• Document security patterns and provide guidance for future developers.

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS SDK.
• Deep understanding of REST API integration and secure networking.
• Experience with mobile security best practices (e.g., keychain, biometrics).
• Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their security services.
• Knowledge of OWASP Mobile Top 10.
• Previous work on security audits for mobile apps.
