About the role

Cascade Apps is preparing a synchronized mobile and backend launch for its upcoming app store release. We need a Java Developer to design, implement, and fine‑tune services that power the mobile experience and ensure seamless data flow.

Key responsibilities

• Build RESTful APIs with Spring Boot to serve mobile clients
• Architect microservice components for scalability and reliability
• Integrate authentication, caching, and monitoring solutions
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to align data contracts
• Write unit and integration tests and maintain CI pipelines

Must-have skills

• Strong Java expertise with Spring Boot
• Hands‑on experience designing microservices
• Understanding of REST API design and security

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes deployment
• Experience with mobile backend patterns (e.g., push notifications)
• Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS or GCP
