Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software applications using Java and related technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following industry best practices and standards
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our overall development process
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, using debugging tools and techniques
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and release notes
• Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and resolve defects, ensuring high-quality products
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our products and processes
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Contribute to the development of our technical roadmap, providing input on technology strategy and direction
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our applications
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop their skills
• Participate in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline development
• Develop and maintain automated tests, using tools such as JUnit and Selenium

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring Boot and microservices
• Strong knowledge of Java, including syntax, semantics, and best practices
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based technologies, including AWS or Azure
• Experience with containerization, using tools such as Docker
• Strong understanding of security principles and practices, with the ability to develop secure software applications
• Experience with automated testing, using tools such as JUnit and Selenium
