About the role

CoreData Systems is expanding its data layer for a high‑traffic analytics platform. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design, optimize, and maintain our NoSQL databases, ensuring performance and reliability for real‑time queries.

Key responsibilities

• Design schema and data models aligned with application needs
• Implement indexing, sharding, and replication strategies
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and tune queries
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate MongoDB with APIs
• Document data architecture and best practices

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with MongoDB administration and performance tuning
• Proficiency in JavaScript and NodeJS for data‑access code
• Understanding of data modeling, aggregation pipelines, and security
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part‑time setting

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud‑hosted MongoDB services (Atlas, AWS)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
