Node.js Developer – End-to-End API Design

About the role

TechFlow Inc is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Node.js Developer to reinforce API defenses, audit configurations, and implement secure coding practices.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze existing services for vulnerability gaps and propose mitigations
• Refactor Node.js modules to follow OWASP guidelines
• Integrate authentication and authorization checks into REST endpoints
• Write automated tests that validate security controls
• Collaborate with DevOps to enforce secure deployment pipelines

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Deep understanding of JavaScript security pitfalls
• Proven ability to design and secure REST APIs
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Nice to have

• Experience with container security tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD security scanning
• Background in threat modeling for microservices
