Node.js Developer for Multi-Region Event-Driven Backend

About the role

Summit Digital is expanding a multi‑tenant B2B platform and needs a focused Node.js developer to deliver a new tenant isolation feature set. You will work closely with product owners to translate requirements into clean, scalable code while ensuring data security across tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement tenant‑aware REST APIs using Node.js and Express
• Integrate authentication and authorization layers for multi‑tenant access
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability
• Collaborate with front‑end and DevOps teams to align delivery pipelines
• Document API contracts and deployment steps for future maintenance

Must-have skills

• Proficiency in NodeJS, Express, and JavaScript
• Experience building multi‑tenant SaaS applications
• Strong understanding of REST API design and security best practices
• Ability to write clean, testable code and use version control (Git)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or container orchestration
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments
