About the role

Orbit Labs is enhancing its test automation framework to lower regression risk before major launches. We need a Node.js Developer to design, implement, and integrate robust automation scripts that seamlessly fit into our CI pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and code reusable test automation modules using Node.js and Express
• Integrate automated tests with existing CI/CD workflows
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to define critical test scenarios
• Maintain clear documentation and reporting for test results
• Identify flaky tests and implement stability improvements

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Node.js and Express
• Proficient in JavaScript and REST API development
• Hands‑on knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Mocha, Jest, Cypress)
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control (Git)

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or containerized test environments
• Familiarity with cloud testing platforms
• Background in performance or load testing
