About the role

CoreData Systems is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and enhance a high‑performance data processing service. The project focuses on creating robust APIs, optimizing database interactions, and ensuring scalable deployment in a cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Python frameworks.
• Develop efficient data models and queries in PostgreSQL.
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage orchestration.
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with front‑end and DevOps teams for seamless integration.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot production issues.

Must-have skills

• Strong Python development experience.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and SQL optimization.
• Hands‑on experience building REST APIs.
• Docker containerization and basic CI/CD knowledge.
• Understanding of version control (Git).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with FastAPI or Django REST Framework.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
