About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a sprint to tighten CI/CD pipelines and automate platform releases. We need a Python Backend Developer who can design, implement, and refine automation scripts that speed up our deployment cycle while keeping quality high.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
• Develop reusable Python modules for infrastructure provisioning and testing
• Integrate automated linting, security scans, and performance benchmarks
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to streamline release gates
• Document pipelines and create runbooks for future sprints

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience
• Proficiency with Django for internal tooling
• Design and consumption of REST APIs
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or Ansible
• Knowledge of Kubernetes deployment patterns
• Previous work on large‑scale CI/CD automation
