About the role

NexGen Media is enhancing its operations with a robust data pipeline and analytics platform. As a Python Backend Developer you will design and implement services that ingest, transform, and expose data for internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build scalable ETL pipelines using Python and Django
• Design RESTful APIs to serve processed metrics
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries for performance
• Collaborate with data analysts to define data models
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience
• Proficiency with Django framework
• Design and implementation of REST APIs
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL database management

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS/GCP)
• Knowledge of data visualization libraries
