About the role

Cascade Apps is expanding its data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a QA Software Tester to ensure the reliability and performance of data ingestion, transformation, and reporting components.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute functional, regression, and performance test cases for ETL pipelines.
• Develop automated test scripts using Selenium and integrate them into CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with data engineers to validate schema changes and data quality checks.
• Track defects, verify fixes, and maintain clear test documentation.
• Participate in sprint planning to align testing effort with delivery timelines.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in QA testing of data‑centric applications.
• Proficiency with Selenium for UI automation.
• Hands‑on automation scripting and test framework design.
• Understanding of data pipelines, SQL, and analytics tools.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud data services (e.g., AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery).
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Knowledge of CI/CD platforms like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
