About the role

Cascade Apps is building a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a QA Software Tester to ensure data flows, transformations, and reporting components work reliably under load.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute functional, regression, and performance test cases for ETL pipelines.
• Automate critical test scenarios using Selenium and scripting frameworks.
• Validate data integrity across source, staging, and analytics layers.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce defects and verify fixes.
• Document test results and provide clear defect reports.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in manual and automated testing of data‑centric applications.
• Proficiency with Selenium for UI and API automation.
• Solid understanding of data pipelines, SQL, and data validation techniques.
• Ability to write clear, concise test documentation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD integration for test suites.
• Experience with cloud data services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
