About the role

Vertex Analytics is launching an integration project that will link its billing system, CRM, and internal services through a unified REST API layer. We need a developer who can design, implement, and document endpoints that securely exchange data across these platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build RESTful services to connect billing, CRM, and internal APIs
• Write clean, maintainable NodeJS code with thorough unit tests
• Design PostgreSQL schemas for transactional data and ensure optimal queries
• Implement authentication, rate‑limiting, and error handling across all endpoints
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to validate data flows and performance

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL design and optimization
• Understanding of API security standards (OAuth, JWT)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with billing or CRM platforms
• Experience with Docker or container orchestration
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for backend services
