Senior CI/CD Pipeline Engineer Needed for Kubernetes Deployment

About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a sprint to accelerate releases through CI/CD and platform automation. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune end‑to‑end pipelines that support rapid, reliable deployments across our cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Containerize applications and orchestrate deployments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and performance checks into pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers to refactor build scripts and improve release velocity.
• Document pipeline configurations and provide knowledge transfer to the internal team.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
• Strong proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles, infrastructure as code, and automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize performance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
• Knowledge of security best practices in CI/CD.
